Chris Olsen has been practicing law since 1988. In 1996, she started Olsen Law Office, a firm with a practice emphasis in helping employees with discrimination and harassment cases and working with families to resolve disputes through divorce, custody and post-divorce matters. Prior to 1996, her practice emphasized commercial litigation.
Chris has been active in many organizations in the community including the Marathon County Domestic Violence Intervention Team, President of the Birch Trails Girl Scout Council, Business and Professional Women Association, and Past President of the Marathon County Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Governors for the Wisconsin State Bar Association, Chaired the District Ethics Committee for the Wisconsin Supreme Court and sat on various professional committees and divisions of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Chris’ philosophy when working with clients is to be honest and straight forward. She makes sure her clients are informed about their legal rights and strongly advocates on their behalf. She and her staff work to maximize the use of a client’s legal dollar so that representation is effective and affordable.
